All registered riders are reminded that registration status changes must be requested in writing by September 1, 2015, along with a $10 administrative charge. Examples of changes that can be made include:
- Switch events: Registered riders can switch from the Chequamegon 40 to the Short & Fat 16 mile, but not from the Short & Fat to the Chequamegon 40.
- Competition class changes: Riders are scored in one of three competition classes: Age Group, Singlespeed Bike or Fat Bike. In the Age Group category your results are scored with those in your specific gender/age category, in the Singlespeed Bike category you must ride a bike with only one gear, and in the Fat Bike category you must ride a “Fat Bike” that has tires with a minimum width of 3.7 inches. In both the Singlespeed Bike and Fat Bike categories, you are scored in an open age class within your gender.
- Start gate changes: All registered riders have all been notified of their start gates based on specific time split criteria. You may request a start gate review in the hope of moving up in the lineup by requesting a review in writing.
All change requests must be in writing with email qualifying for acceptable notification. Requests must also be accompanied with a $10 administrative fee payable by check in the mail or called in credit card information. No changes will be considered after the September 1 change deadline.
